Hollywood - The Real Home of Homophobia

Surprise, surprise, surprise! Anyone who watched or heard about the Oscars last night now knows the truth of Hollywood - it's full of homophobic, hate-mongering people. Oh wait, isn't that what the left calls Us red staters? Though technically I live in a blue state (PA), I am what you call a paleoconservative, i.e. anyone who thinks Goldwater, Nixon, and Reagan were right for our great country. Why do I dare call Hollywood homophobic? Because of one movie, that shall remain nameless in this blog, everyone was saying that, that particular movie was going to win the Best Picture award. Well it turned out that Hollywood isn't as progressive as George "f**k America" Clooney said it was last night in his speech. I wish the left would admit that they are just as racist or even more so, as we on the right are. I mean, listening to Clooney last night, you would thought that the Democrats were the sole party that passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act. I would say victors write the history books, but with this revisionist history that the left is spewing, I wouldn't personally count on getting an acurate view on history anymore.

Blow up dolls

* The latest public figure to stand accused of defiling the Prophet Mohamed is not some Danish cartoonist, or French newspaper editor, but a hapless British Page 3 girl called Emma B.

Yesterday, the erotic retailer Ann Summers unveiled Miss B as the "face" of its new range of products.

Not 24 hours later, she finds herself on the front line of Islamic protest after Muslim leaders discovered that the range includes a new blow-up doll, called "Mustafa Shag".

Unfortunately, Mustafa was one of the names given to the Prophet Mohamed. Bestowing it upon, in the words of its catalogue, "an inflatable escort for your hen-night adventures" is considered highly offensive.

The Manchester Central Mosque has already written to the firm, calling on it to withdraw the product, right.

"You have no idea how much hurt, anguish, and disgust this obnoxious phrase ["Mustafa Shag"] has caused to Muslim men, women and children," reads their letter.

"We are asking you to please relent on compassionate grounds, and have our Most Reverend Prophet's Name "Mustafa" (Peace Be Upon Him) and the afflicted word 'shag' removed as soon as possible."

Ann Summers was last night examining options, though its chief executive Jacqueline Gold was reluctant to withdraw the item from sale.

"We don't want to offend, but this feels like political correctness gone mad," she said. "If anyone has a better name for a blow-up doll, please let us know."

Plantation owners...

"When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation." - Hillary Rodham Rodham

Well I guess when your family owned plantations and slaves, you would probably know what a plantation looks like. So I guess she has come out of the closet for the '08 elections as a slave owner, and by the looks of her statement, a proud slave owner. I guess she was one of the Southerners that believe slavery was a good institution otherwise she wouldn't of made that statement. I wish she would shut the hell up and leave New York state, well, leave the world in general. She is one of the most two-faced persons out there in the public today, with the execption to Howard Dean.

Career politicans

I called my dad today to see if he could babysit my 2 and a half year old daughter while my wife and I went out to dinner and to a movie on Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. The first thing he asks was "are you going to his town meetings?" I replied, "Who's? Swann's?" "No, Scranton's." Ugh. I told him I wasn't going to vote for Scranton in the Republican primaries for governor. I hate career politicans, I hate political dynasties. We already have too darn many political families in this country. This isn't friggin' England were they have dynasties that span generations and generations. My only concern about Swann is that he isn't giving anyt time to the local media, and only focusing on the national media. I mean, come on, why in the world would the state of Washington care about some backwaters state governors race?
